Pick Perth for the July school holidays!

Why pick Perth for the July school holidays I hear you ask! Where to start is the question when it comes to activities around town to keep kids busy through July 2018.

Free activities and cheapies are always a god send when you have a large family to cater for and often large shopping centres are the places to be to take advantage of these:

Westfield Whitfords goes Jurassic between the 2nd and 15th of July!  Here you can witness a prehistoric spectacle like no other, with a variety of fun activities.

Dig for dinosaur fossils at the paleontology zone these school holidays when Whitford City goes Jurassic; the dinosaur hunt is on at Whitford City, find them all to collect your very own kingdom of dinos; yoin Professor Fossil and dino friends for a free stage show full of Jurassic discovery and be there when Australian Geographic brings life to the dinosaur craft activity zone these school holidays.

Pick a sunny day these school holidays and head to Kings Park Synergy Parkland

Follow the dinosaur prints and find the ancient fossils. Playground and mist forest. Recommended for children 6 years and over (due to water hazards in this area). For younger children checkout the huge playground in the Kings Park – Lotterywest Family Area

Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park

Give the kids a chance to get back to nature! Entry is free and kids can wade in the creek, build cubby houses with sticks and climb over rocks and up the tree hides.

The Winter fun has just begun at Elizabeth Quay with an Open-air ice rink, fantastic rides, great entertainment and delicious food and drink options.Skating At Festivals offers something for everyone. A true Winter wonderland experience.

Cross the river to South Perth and visit the iconic Perth Zoo – Go behind-the-scenes to experience our rare and extraordinary animals up-close! Bookings are essential.

If you are looking for somewhere central to stay these July school holidays, choose the Addison Street Townhouse in South Perth. This property sleeps up to five guests and is available for short term let during the July school holidays. Contact us for more information and bookings.
